Blog Commenting

Here’s a thought.

I enjoy commenting on other peoples blogs, even if I don’t get the link back. So…the added benefit of the link is really cool, but what to do with it.

Think about it, if I use anything other than my name, most bloggers figure I’m a spammer and remove my comment. Even if it was really a kick ass comment that was on topic with the blog post. This means about the best I can hope to accomplish with my blog commenting is ranking for my name.

Unless…I create another site and use that for linking all my blog commenting to, then take that site and link it to my main site. By doing it this way I am able to catch the entire PR from my blog commenting, and focus it back to my main site using the anchor text for the keyword that I really want to rank for.

Okay…now before everyone starts crying out and yelling black hat crap keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with having a main site on one URL and a blog on another.

I’d just like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
